The meeting will be held at the County Administration Building in the Public Meeting Room, December 3, 2009 at 4:45 pm.

| 10/26/2009 | The Fluvanna County Planning Department and the Louisa County Community Development Department will be co-hosting a training/review session at which VDOT representatives will discuss the Secondary Street Acceptance Requirements (SSAR) which became effective July 2009. The purpose of this meeting is to assist the local development community in Fluvanna and Louisa counties have a better understanding of the VDOT regulations.
The meeting will be held at the Spring Creek Development Sports Club Banquet Room located at 181 Clubhouse Way, Gordonsville, Virginia on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

| 7/13/2009 | PUBLIC NOTICE - Public Information Meetings
The Louisa County Department of Community Development has scheduled 4 public information meetings to review the recently approved setback compliance policy with the public. The new policy is intended to ensure setback compliance for all construction activities. The policy changes certain aspects of the building permit process and will require setback surveys in certain situations when the building or structure is proposed close to the minimum setback.
Interested individuals and businesses are encouraged to attend one of the following meetings:
July 22, 2009: 1:30 – 3:30 July 27, 2009: 1:30 – 3:30
July 24, 2009: 1:30 – 3:30 August 4, 2009: 9:30 – 11:30
Meetings will be held in the Public Meeting Room at the County Administrative Building at 1 Woolfolk Avenue in the Town of Louisa. Piers supporting on-frame MODULAR homes shall be fully parged, or filled solid using type M or type S mortar. This is a requirement of the manufacturer and is applicable under the USBC section 102.3(5) |
| BONDING REQUIREMENTS FOR CSST TUBING
A single bond shall be made at or near the service entrance of the structure or the gas meter of each individual dwelling. The bonding conductor shall be 6 AWG copper wire. The corrugated stainless steel tubing portion of the gas piping system shall not be used as the point of attachment of the bonding conductor at any location along its length under any circumstances.
